Who We Are

Our Story

Adonis & Abbey Consults Ltd (AAC) was established to bridge the gap between world-class strategic advisory and the practical realities of doing business in Africa. Founded by Dr. Adonis Abbey, the firm grew out of a conviction that African organisations deserve the same quality of management intelligence that their counterparts in developed markets take for granted.

Today, AAC operates from offices in Abuja, serving clients across government, the private sector, and civil society. Our team of over 30 consultants, researchers, and sector specialists brings together experience from some of the world’s leading advisory firms, development finance institutions, and public bodies.

We believe that intelligence today creates advantage tomorrow — and we have built our firm entirely around that conviction.

Our Mission

To give clients the intelligence, strategy, and reputation support they need to make better decisions — through rigorous research, honest analysis, and clear advice, delivered in confidence.

Our Vision

To be the trusted partner organisations turn to when the stakes are high — for the insight that shapes a decision, the strategy that carries it forward, and the discretion to protect it along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of organisations do you work with?

We work across financial services, government, FMCG, and energy — as well as individuals who need discreet due diligence or advisory support. Our six service areas span intelligence, strategy, consultancy, communications, publishing, and events, so most engagements are tailored rather than off-the-shelf.

How does an engagement typically start?

Most begin with a consultation request through our contact form — tell us what you're trying to understand, decide, or protect, and we'll route it to the right team based on the service involved.

Do you offer support specifically for tenders and bids?

Yes — this sits under Risk & Strategy Advisory. Because tender support involves different details (project type, budget range, deadline), we use a separate, more detailed request form rather than the general enquiry form.

How do you handle client confidentiality?

Given the sensitivity of our due-diligence and risk work, client information is handled under strict confidentiality at every stage. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
